The Meskwaki Historical Tent graciously agreed to a book launch of We The Interwoven Volume 2, featuring Dawson Davenport of the Meskwaki Nation. The event is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2019 in the Meskwaki Historical Tent (after the 1st powwow performance session). The Meskwaki Historical Tent is located on the south side of the speaker stand.

Dawson Davenport nominated Christina Blackcloud to serve as an Interwoven Community Ambassador. Christina exclaimed, "I am very proud of Dawson. He has overcome many obstacles in his life. The “can do” attitude and passion I seen in his entrepreneurial and artistic background lead me to believe in him. Sharing a piece of his story in this book took courage and I respect that. I appreciate the nomination and want to share a word of advice to everyone: Be respectful and nice to each other, you may never know how much of a positive impact you can have on others. Dawson, you rock, keep up the greatness! #Represent
