With two rooms available for guests to book, you'll enjoy the same digs as famous visiting writers.

The house boasts thirteen rooms including two parlors, sunroom, formal dining room and library filled with Advanced Reader and signed copies! Let us know your favorite books, and we'll curate a special collection for reading while you're here.

Leslie Jamison (is an American novelist and essayist. Her work has been published in Best New American Voices 2008A Public Space, and Black Warrior ReviewThe Empathy Exams, an essay collection published by Graywolf Press, debuted in April 2014 at no. 11 on the New York Times bestseller list. The book received wide acclaim from critics, with The New York Times writer Olivia Lang saying, "It’s hard to imagine a stronger, more thoughtful voice emerging this year.Originally from Los Angeles, she attended Harvard University and the Iowa Writers' Workshop




Hope Edelman is the author of six nonfiction books, including the bestsellers Motherless Daughters, Motherless Mothers, and The Possibility of Everything. Her books have been published in 17 countries and 11 languages and have almost a million copies in print. Her articles, essays and reviews have appeared in numerous publications, including the New York Times, the Chicago Tribune, the Los Angeles Times, The Huffington Post, Glamour, Child, Self, Real Simple, and Writer’s Digest. 

 

Michele Morano is the author of the travel memoir Grammar Lessons: Translating a Life in Spain. Her work has appeared in many journals and anthologies, including Best American Essays and I'll Tell You Mine: Thirty years of Essays from the Iowa Nonfiction Writing Program. She directs the graduate program in writing and publishing at DePaul University in Chicago.

 

 

Allison Bechdel is an American cartoonist. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, Slate, McSweeney’s, The New York Times Book Review, and Granta. She won a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2012, and in 2014 was named a MacArthur Fellow.

 


Piedad Bonnett Vélez is a Colombian poet, playwright and novelist of international acclaim. She is the winner of the Poetry National Prize from the Colombian Institute of Culture and one of Colombia's most beloved writers.
